A blog facebook oldalára egy japán olvasómtól érkezett az alábbi hozzászólás:
"I have lived in Okayama for 12 years. In my experience, relatively frequently heard words are "めげる","ぼっけー","てごーする”,”おえん”and ”やっちもねー”. I use only "おえん" in my daily conversation.
I think the most interesting word in them is "めげる". This word is also used in standard Japanese, when someone feels mentally damaged ; but in Okayama dialekt, people use this word to express physical damage. I felt very strange first when my Okayama-born friend said 「携帯がめげた」 (My cell phone has broken), because I had known only standard Japanese usage at that time."
